Spring is kidding season at Veritas Farms! We love to look at pictures of baby goats, & are sure you would enjoy them too! Kidding dates, weaning dates, kids available for sale and prices are listed under photographs. Please email me if you are interested in any kids.  I do require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold a kid until weaning/pick-up.  Unless special arrangements have been made, I ask that kids be picked up within 2 weeks of their weaning age or I will re-list them for sale.  Kids come with a care package with some of the grain they've been eating, a small bag of minerals, and a goat care print out, as well as a chart of all their medical records (shots, worming dates, etc.)

 

All of my does are CAE tested each year and kids are dam raised with bottle supplementation to ensure they are friendly & get plenty of nutrition. Kids receive preventative coccidiosis care, minerals, selenium supplementation,  CD/T vaccines and traditional wormers (we do not trust herbals) before going to new homes. All kids are disbudded here and receive their first hoof trims at weaning. We castrate all wethers with a burdizzo. We believe this bloodless castration method is quickest and with the least risk of infection. Wethers will always have a little "souvenir" but will not be smelly, hairy or fertile and they do not act bucky. All  pet wethers are $65 unless otherwise noted. We suggest that if you do not own goats, you purchase a pair.

We DO offer a $25 cash back incentive for any goat purchased with the Veritas Farm herd name whom receives an LA score, is put on a milk test which is recorded with a registry, and/or places in the top 5 of any dairy class you may show in. We would love to see our animals in the show ring & hitting the milk pail!
